About Us
Members participate in meetings run by 4-H community clubs. The shooting sports meetings are run by trained adult volunteer leaders who have undergone national certifications in their respective shooting disciplines. All of the disciplines are taught using materials prepared by the National 4-H Shooting Sports Foundation.
4-H shooters can compete at county, state, and national 4-H shooting events, as well as many clinics and fun-shoots throughout the year. Healthy competition provides an incentive to excel and opportunities for shooters to test their skills.
Find out more about 4-H on the Pima County 4-H Youth development website. If you have any questions about the Pima County 4-H Shooting Sports Education program, feel free to contact us.
In order to participate in 4-H Shooting Sports Education, members must be between the ages of 9 and 18, depending on his/her birth date. Check here for a current list of clubs near you. When signing up for this project, use code #46000. If you are over 18 and wish to be an adult volunteer or project leader, find more information on the CALS website.
